At House of Devon, we’ve taken a heartfelt step forward in supporting animal rescue efforts, focusing on those left behind in overcrowded shelters — including high-kill facilities where time is painfully limited. In Los Angeles, where there are virtually no regulations on breeding, dumping, or meaningful penalties for cruelty, the crisis has spiraled out of control. With over 1,000 animals euthanized each month — including pregnant mothers, newborn litters, and even purebreds — it’s clear we’re facing more than just a numbers issue.
Through collaboration with 501(c)(3) rescue organizations, House of Devon helps connect these voiceless souls with fosters and forever families. One of the most impactful ways we do this is by using photography to tell their stories — to show the love, spirit, and individuality behind every face. These images aren’t just portraits — they’re lifelines.
The adoption world is in crisis. We urge you to consider Fostering, Donating, or Adopting. The very dog you might seek from a breeder is likely already waiting in a shelter — often neglected, misunderstood, and simply in need of a second chance.
